The Easyway to Quit Smoking for the 2020s
The world’s best-selling quit smoking book has been upgraded for the modern-day smoker & vaper
Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking book is the world’s best selling quit smoking book of all time. Allen’s loyal team of therapists, who he made responsible for continuing his work, have gently, sensitively, updated and contemporized the globally revered method to ensure that it covers all modern day smoking issues, including e-cigarettes, JUUL, IQOS (heat not burn), nicotine patches and gum, chewing tobacco (dip), and even snus (tobacco pouches that are held in the mouth).
The new brand book, initially being launched specifically for the US market, now includes issues that simply didn’t exist when Allen first devised the method, as well as others that, following the passage of time, required enhanced analysis. For example:
- More in depth handling of “habit and triggers”
- More about weight and appetite suppression
- Self-harm issues
- Depression & anxiety factors
- Advice about weed/cannabis
- The relationship between nicotine & dopamine
John Dicey, Global CEO & Senior Therapist, Allen Carr’s Easyway (& co-author of the new book) comments, “It was an honour and privilege to work closely with Allen when he was alive and myself & Robin Hayley (now Chairman of Easyway), and our global team of colleagues, undertook to ensure that his legacy achieves its full potential”.
Dicey continues, “With stop smoking centers in more than 50 countries worldwide, publishing programmes in more than 40 languages, and Online Video Programs for issues such as smoking, alcohol, weight/sugar addiction, cocaine addiction, gambling, tech addiction, junk-spending, and even fear of flying, I’m proud of the progress we’ve made. There’s more to come though, we’re currently putting the finishing touches to an Online Video Program for tech addiction and another for cannabis addiction and these projects will make Allen Carr’s Easyway method even more affordable and easy to access than ever. It’s all Allen’s work – we’re just the custodians of it – and I’m more than a little embarrassed to be described as co-author of the book – it really is all Allen Carr “
