Rafael Stantandreu recommends Allen Carr’s Easyway to Quit Smoking
Rafael Stantandreu was a professor at Ramon Llull University and was editor-in-chief of the psychology magazine Mente Sana. After many years of practicing psychotherapy, he published his first book “The Art of Not Making Yourself Miserable” , which has become an international best seller. He now devotes his time to writing, psychotherapy and the training of doctors and psychologists. He has quit smoking, drinking and lost weight with Allen Carr’s Easyway and he writes:
“Twenty years ago, I was a pretty good smoker: I used to smoke 20 cigarettes a day and suffered two monumental failures trying to quit. Once, I could only quit for one hour! After that time I was panicking and started to smoke again.
Why couldn’t I do it? It could be only due to a terrible disease called adiction. I had seen movies about sad junkies suffering incredible pangs in detoxification treatments and my only hope was to gather someday enough strength to go through that. Meanwhile, I could only go on smoking.
But then I had the most important stroke of luck of my life. I was introduced to“The easyway to quit smoking”.
As a psychologist, I was scientifically interested, but without much expectation. And then wham! when I finished, something happened that transformed my life for good. Suddenly, I didn’t feel like smoking; I dind’t have any craving; I was just happy! And strangely I knew I wouldn’t smoke again in my life.
That’s what is going to happen to you if you go into it with an open mind.
I promise that:
- Tobacco addiction is 95% mental; craving is a stupid and nonsense thing.
- With the correct mental attitude, you will enjoy the process.
- You will have the conviction that you won’t smoke again.
- You will be in the mental state of a non smoker. Someone who never smokes and enjoys life to the full.
- You won’t gain weight at all.
- You will fully enjoy parties or anything you have now associated with smoking and vaping.
