Robin is the Global Chairman & Senior Therapist of Allen Carr’s Easyway Worldwide and co-author of Allen Carr books.

He was a heavy smoker and had tried many times to quit – using every method he could find. Nothing worked. In 1989 he attended Allen Carr’s original centre in London after family and friends had recommended the method because they had attended and stopped easily. To his surprise he left the seminar a happy non-smoker.

He immediately asked Allen Carr if he could join his mission to help smokers and he underwent the training process to become an Allen Carr’s Easyway Therapist. He set up the Birmingham Centre expanding the network and, with his work at the London Centre, he personally treated more than 30,000 smokers.

He was appointed Managing Director with the task to spread the method all over the world and he created a global organisation. He then become Chairman in 2012.

He has helped the business to grow so that it now has seminar centres in more than 150 cities in 50 countries and publishing interests in over 60 countries. In 2020 he was honoured to be invited to assist the World Health Organisation with their global smoking cessation efforts and continues to do so.
