So here I am, a bit more than two months after quitting sugar the Easy Way. Weirdly enough after a lifetime of sugar addiction, I am having no trouble at all living without white sugar. Before, I really didn’t crave — and wan’t uncontrollable around — white flour and starchy carbs. My big problem has always been with sugar, and most pointedly CHOCOLATE. It feels amazing to not crave chocolate, or engineer my life around picking up just one little sweet thing “while I’m out”. My fridge is loaded with fresh fruits and vegetables, and my pantry with nuts, and I eat really really well.
Have I miraculously dropped pounds and pounds of weight in the past two months? Don’t know, don’t care. When I stop noticing the roll at my middle I guess I’ll check the scale.
All I know is, I feel much better about myself, I have clothes that look good on me, and tons of room in my brain to tackle whatever’s next.

There is no doubt that sugar addiction is behind a global epidemic in type 2 diabetes. It’s not just the type of sugar that we’re consuming that is causing the problem but the quantity and frequency also.
How do you stop sugar cravings?
Living life with a sugar problem can be miserable. It feels like a constant battle to find out “how to stop eating sugar”, while “craving sweets all the time”, and wishing there was a magical way to “stop such food cravings”.
Not all sugar is bad. The sugar that is found in natural foods such as fruit & vegetables is perfectly designed for us to process and the closer it is to its natural state – the better it makes us feel.
