Fear plays a vital role in protecting us from danger.
Whether through the response of fight, flight or freeze.
We are equipped with an incredible system for surviving genuine threats to our existence.
We instinctively react, and if our reaction is successful, we survive and the danger goes away.
If we’re not successful we die.
Fortunately for us humans, the genuine threats to our life are very few, and most of those come from other humans.
So our chances of fear ever leading to something life threatening are extremely slim.
But when the threat is imaginary, neither happens.
We don’t perish.
But the danger doesn’t go away either.
Instead, we’re left to live with it forever, battling it in our minds, trying to fight it, avoid it or think it through.
The heightened state of anxiety that was designed to be used in short bursts to help us survive becomes permanent.
Imaginary dangers are mostly created by our own narrative.
Reacquainting yourself with a mindful approach to life
Imagine you could find a way to reduce the stress in your life, free yourself from anxiety, depression, and regret, and enjoy increased happiness and more peaceful relationships, all while remaining calm and in control.
Now imagine that, by achieving that happier mental state, you became less susceptible to sickness, injury, tiredness, and pain.
This programme shows you how you have the power to achieve this happy state quickly, easily, and without making any sacrifices.
What prevents you from being mindful?
Increasingly, mindfulness is being seen as the antidote to a whole host of 21st-century problems: like work-life balance, multi-tasking, peer pressure, cyber bullying, self-image, sleep deprivation, anger, tech addiction, and drug addiction.
As we get caught up in the vicious circle of anxiety and stress, the need for a way to cut out the noise and find the mental space to think clearly becomes paramount.
According to many research sources, average stress levels are higher today than at any other time in history.
We’re afflicted by new illnesses, and mental health issues are on the rise.
At the same time, we’ve become rightly sceptical about the reliance on pharmaceuticals to treat these conditions. There’s a desire to find cures that don’t involve drugs.
In short, there’s a growing desire for peace, some respite from the clamour of modern life, escape from the vicious circle of anxiety, depression, and stress.
The good news is that escape is easy. By following a simple set of instructions in this programme, you can develop the ability to live a happy, healthy life.

In Jan 2021, I tried Allen Carr’s Easyway after AA as a last resort. I did the 5 hour course and then got on with life. I didn’t even realise I wasn’t drinking! Amazing. [In 2022] did the 8 week mindfulness course. I didn’t expect to gain as much as I did. I just wish it was longer!
Alcohol and Mindfulness

I just wanted to say a huge, great big, massively gigantic thank you for producing and delivering such a wonderful and inspiring course!
I almost cried after our final zoom on Thursday 😂.
I will miss our Thursday evenings so very much.
I am excited by the thought of a mindful future and I’m looking forward to the journey. This is thanks to you
This course was a five star rating from me. It was more than I imagined. I thought it would just teach me how to meditated and relax however I gained so much more than I could possibly have thought I would. I learned how to listen to my body and mind and understand myself more.
During the course I was reading allen carrs easy way to stop smoking and I finished the book followed the instructions and became a very happy non smoker which was quite a revelation for me. I didn’t think it was possible. Emma’s mindfulness course helped me understand my mind, thoughts and emotions better and listen to myself more. The breathing techniques are a godsend and I use them everyday with a body scan every morning. This helps me be more relaxed and present in the moment and act not react. I have a better understanding of other people’s feelings and emotions now.
I have recommended the course and books to all my family and friends that have noticed the difference in me and how I’ve changed to a much calmer more present and thoughtful person. I have also recommended the course and books very highly to my drs who have seen the difference in my health and well-being. The improvement is my breathing is quite amazing to them.
Emma has been an absolutely amazing teacher who although is very knowledgeable dosnt come across as a know it all. She is very humble and wise. I want to thank her for teaching me and changing my life and I look forward to any further work I can get involved in future with her. Xx
Emma was able to capture and hold my attention the content was spot on
Emma’s honesty was amazing; she had great insight into the challenges that she has faced in her life. My biggest learning was to be kind to myself.
If everyone took this course the world might just be a happier and kinder place

It seems that most of the people I know, myself included, are suffering from some form of anxiety and /or depression right now, the newspapers present a bleak picture of life and the general mood of the nation is pretty gloomy. The Easyway Method is ‘mind-medicine’, a remedy for poor and incorrect thinking. Reading this book has been a much needed and very welcome antidote to ‘Modern Life’ and I look forward to applying this method to my life.
If you’ve had enough of yourself and the way you live your life, if you’ve ‘tried everything’ to lose weight, stop drinking, stop smoking etc. and genuinely want to change your life, then Easyway will help you to do that and enable you to enjoy the entire process of change – no more struggling with willpower, no more bouts of shame and self-loathing after another failed attempt to stop. Easyway offers genuine freedom from addiction, it gives you back your life and, for that I am eternally grateful and cannot recommend Allen’s Method strongly enough.
Thank you for creating the easyway to reconnect with my pre-internet no-TV farm boy brain. Mindful, walking, eating, drinking presence.

What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a wonderful way of reconnecting with yourself and regaining control and influence over all aspects of your life. It doesn’t necessarily get rid of problems or issues – or even solve them – but it can fundamentally change the way you think and feel about them and make sure that you minimise their impact on you mind, body, and spirit or simply don’t allow them to impact you at all.
Why be mindful?
- To learn to respond rather than react to our emotions.
- To be grateful for what we have.
- To be a better friend / partner / work colleague.
- To improve relationships with our children and family members
- So we don’t miss out on life
- To improve our relationship with ourselves.
- To be kinder to ourselves and others.
- To understand ourselves and our habitual behaviours and realise we have the possibility to change.
- We practice mindfulness to live a happier life.
