In her autobiography “What’s that lady doing?” Lou Sanders credits Allen Carr’s Easyway to stop drinking with her freedom from alcohol (she’s been good enough to mention it in quite a few media appearances).
In this review of her autobiography it says, “She portrays it as quite a simple equation, that once she stopped drinking and taking her career seriously with plenty of gigging (and learning from her on-stage deaths) good things started to happen”.
